My company has been working on a large link building project. We’ve already performed extensive keyword research and link analysis and now we’re considering executing an email outreach campaign. However, all the content we’ve created up until this point is geared more towards our target audience as opposed to the key influencers of our target audience. Do you think it would be worth it to try to build backlinks to our existing content or are we better off creating new content that directly appeals to the influencers of our target audience?
#6 Go on podcasts! In 13 years of SEO and digital marketing, I’ve never had as much bang for the buck. You go on for 20 minutes, get access to a new audience and great natural links on high dwell time sites (hosts do all the work!). Thanks for including this tip Brian, I still don’t think the SEO community has caught on to the benefits of podcast guesting campaigns for SEO and more…it’s changed my business for sure.
The best way to convert cold and warm traffic into sales is to draft content and create images (on your website, blog, newsletters, etc.) that actually resonate with your target audiences. You can figure this out by doing a little research on what ails your audience. Building an emotional connection with your audience in your sales funnel will let them know you understand their pain points and problems and have a product or service that will help reconcile that problem. - Kristin Kimberly Marquet, Marquet Media, LLC
Believe it or not but with sites like NeoBux and you can actually get paid to sit and click. All you need to do is view the advertisements that they display, then the advertisers pay them & they pass on a share of the money to you. You can even see preview advertisements before you sign up and you can pick and choose the adverts that you’d like to see.
For my Adsense plugin which you can get here https://wordpress.org/plugins/adsense-made-easy-best-simple-ad-inserter/ I’ve created a PRO version (https://www.seo101.net/adsense-made-easy-pro/) that is available to those that sign up for my mailing list. It’s not much but it gets me 5 to 6 subscibers a day. And best of all I know exactly what my subscribers are interested in… WordPress and Adsense:)
It’s really easy to get started making money as an affiliate with sites like Wealthy Affiliate & it can be very rewarding indeed with some companies willing to pay over $100 just for 1 successful purchase. As an affiliate you’ll basically be selling other companies products or services for them & receiving a commission each time you manage to do so. The companies will give you a tracking link & instead of sending people directly to their website via their normal web address you simply send them through your affiliate link instead. That way they can track the sale back to you & credit your account.
hi Dale, hubby also electrician and I am employed, but always looking for something to make extra cash with kids and all. I have already registered on freelancer and placed a bid, now I am waiting. I wanted to do surveys in addition, but it seems like the option is not availible for South Africa. I can understand that some products not availible here, so we cannot give an opinion on a product we do not know, but there must be ones that we can do as well. I found a surveyza, but my computer immediately flashed security alert, so that is a no go. Do you have a ligit one that South Africans also can register on. the global name one, gives a blank screen.
If you haven’t used software like BuzzSumo to check out what your competitors are up to, you’re at a huge disadvantage. These services aggregate the social performance of specific sites and content to provide you with an at-a-glance view of what topics are resonating with readers and, most importantly, making the rounds on social media. Find out what people are reading (and talking about), and emulate that kind of content to bring traffic to your website.
Using sites like CrowdCube you can browse and invest in either established businesses or businesses that you think might become the next big thing. It’s free to join & anybody can sign up & invest. It’s up to you to decide exactly how much you’d like to invest from as little as £10 and you can create a diversified portfolio by investing in as many businesses as you like.
There are websites out there such as CPAlead that will pay you each time you get somebody to complete an action. As an example you can sign up to CPAlead & lock a link, which means that when you share a link with somebody they’d have to complete a quick offer before they were redirected to it, resulting in you getting paid. There’s a whole load of different ways you can earn money via CPA for example if you own a website you can use their widget to require people to complete a quick offer before they can access it. Their payouts are pretty high and there’s an awful lot of people using CPAlead making well over $100 a day.
Google Analytics is free to use, and the insights gleaned from it can help you to drive further traffic to your website. Use tracked links for your marketing campaigns and regularly check your website analytics. This will enable you to identify which strategies and types of content work, which ones need improvement, and which ones you should not waste your time on.
This way, when you do drive traffic, you know where that traffic is coming from. Otherwise, you're left in the dark. For example, if you do some content marketing on Quora.com or Medium.com, you could use the campaign source as simply Quora or Medium and the campaign medium as content_marketing and the term as the term you're working to rank for. Get the picture? Then, you'll see all the beautiful results directly in Google Analytics and you'll know specifically where your traffic came from.
“Flipping” websites is were you buy (or build) & sell websites purely to make a profit. With huge free to join marketplaces like Flippa it’s really easy to get into & there’s certainly a lot of money to be made. A lot of the sites can sell for over 5 figures, some of which are often only relatively new. You can buy established sites in an attempt to hold them for a while & hope their value will increase or you can develop websites from scratch in the hope that they’ll interest buyers & sell for a good profit.
Use clean backgrounds. The background textures and color you choose have the ability to drastically affect the overall appeal of the website. Lots of texture and graphics in the background can be distracting. If you are going to use a color on the background, you should make sure there is significant contrast between the background color and the text. Be careful when using brighter and darker colors such as red or yellow. They cause visual fatigue (temporary loss of strength and energy resulting from hard physical or mental work) and the reader will lose their focus on the text.
As far as Poker goes (at least for Texas Hold’em), I’d recommend sitting at a low stakes table (1/2 no-limit is the lowest most places have) and merely being observant/make casual conversation at the table for a while until you feel comfortable. If you’ve never played, just tell the dealer and they’ll be happy to help you out (most players will notice if you haven’t played before anyways so you’re not really at a loss there). Just play “tight” (a small range of strong starting hands) and that’s a pretty good place to start!
Create shareable content. In the world of social media, shareable content is king. Your content should be easily share-able so that your readers can spread the word for you. This is a combination of a good headline and an interesting image, as well as a captivating lead-in. All of this creates a perfect bite-sized chunk of your article that others can share through Facebook, Twitter, and other networks.
Have an extra room in the house? Try renting it out on Airbnb.com. According to Smart Asset, you can pay up to 81% of your rent by listing one room in a two-bedroom home. If you're really looking to ring in the cash, renting out a private home or apartment is the way to go. According to Smart Asset's findings, rates for full apartments are significantly higher than those for just rooms, with annual profits ranging from $15,000 to $31,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
21. Facebook – Facebook swap shops are great for selling things locally. It’s like CraigsList, but a little easier. You simply search for swap shops in your area and ask to join the group. Once you’re in, take a picture of the item, write a quick description with the price and post it. It doesn’t get much easier than that. You can generally expect to get about what you would get at a yard sale, maybe a little more.
Influencer marketing is a great way to get your message out to millions of people without having your own large audience. You can leverage influencers on Twitter, Instagram and any number of other social networks. Find people who are entrenched in your niche or industry and reach out to them. This won't be cheap, but it could potentially bring you droves of customers and sales in the near term.
Create a navigation menu. For easy navigation, you should create a toolbar with links that are easy to navigate and position the toolbar in an area that makes sense. Web users often look for the toolbar across the top or down the left the left hand side of the page. You shouldn't forget a link to your homepage. It’s often forgotten but very important to point your users to your homepage.
