26. Services – You can offer a paid service, such as life coaching, blog coaching, goal setting or financial planning. Just be sure to investigate all the legal implications and make sure you’re not claiming to be a professional if you’re not one. With a service like this, you’re basically using your blog to sell yourself. You’ll need to convince people that you’re worth buying and then be able to back up your claims once they purchase your service.
So many great tips! There are a couple of things I’ve implemented recently to try and boost traffic. One is to make a pdf version of my post that people can download. It’s a great way to build a list:) Another way is to make a podcast out of my post. I can then take a snippet of it and place it on my Facebook page as well as syndicate it. As far as video I’ve started to create a video with just a few key points from the post. The suggestion about going back to past articles is a tip I am definitely going to use especially since long-form content is so important. Thanks!
Turo pays you via direct deposit within five days. According to their site, you’ll earn “65% to 85% of the trip price, depending on the vehicle protection package you choose. If you have commercial rental insurance to cover you, your car, and your customers and would like to waive vehicle protection provided via Turo, you earn 90% of the trip price.”
Surprisingly it’s true, by using apps like ReceiptHog (US) or Quidco (UK) you can actually earn rewards simply by scanning your shopping receipts. There’s also another site called ShopandScan but that ones invite only so if you apply you’ll have to wait to be selected. It doesn’t get much easier than scanning a barcode, and you can expect to earn around £10 per month.
Thanks for a this timely article. If I understand it correctly, are you saying that we would better be off looking at market data in our niche and make an article of that for influencers to share rather than actionable tips that the target clients would be interested in? Shouldn’t there be a double strategy – articles for the influencers to share and articles for the users to enjoy?
Headlines are one of the most important parts of your content. Without a compelling headline, even the most comprehensive blog post will go unread. Master the art of headline writing. For example, the writers at BuzzFeed and Upworthy often write upward of twenty different headlines before finally settling on the one that will drive the most traffic, so think carefully about your headline before you hit “publish.”
Stay on topic. All this socializing, forum commenting and question answering ought to be on your website's main topic. The more your activity and site content match in topic, the more likely the right people find it. The more targeted your affiliate links are to the topic, the better you'll do with them too. People don't mind advertising that's on topic, it starts to look like a convenience directory rather than irritating commercials.
22. Advertising – This is definitely the most old-school way of earning money with a blog. It’s also starting to become the least common way. You can sell advertising spots directly on your site or you can sign up with a company like Google AdSense or Media.net. Either way, you won’t see a whole lot of money from ads until your views are well into the thousands each day.
The best way to convert cold and warm traffic into sales is to draft content and create images (on your website, blog, newsletters, etc.) that actually resonate with your target audiences. You can figure this out by doing a little research on what ails your audience. Building an emotional connection with your audience in your sales funnel will let them know you understand their pain points and problems and have a product or service that will help reconcile that problem. - Kristin Kimberly Marquet, Marquet Media, LLC
Hello Precious, thanks for your comment & praise towards the article – I’m really glad it’s helped you. Matched betting is a process whereby you take advantage of bookmakers introductory offers in order to “beat the bookies” so to speak. You basically cover all the odds of losing so that regardless of the result you still come in with a profit to at least some amount. It’s quite a long-winded process and that’s only a very brief insight, but coincidentally I am actually in the middle of putting something together to explain this in more detail. As soon as I complete it I’ll send you an email and let you know that it’s done so that you can come back & learn more about it.
For sure! I think that’s something Jeff and I have learned rather quickly is to definitely not put all your eggs in one basket. We had 1-2 affiliates that we promoted for the longest time that were by and large our main sources of income. We realized that if we lost even 1 of those affiliates we would be in for a huge world of hurt when it came to our monthly intake.
Multi level marketing is a way to earn a serious amount of money of cash online and it’s an opportunity that’s open to pretty much everybody regardless of online marketing experience. Companies like Team National have paid out millions in commissions to distributors around the world. It’s worth noting that these aren’t pyramid schemes because those are of course illegal. In a pyramid scheme there is no product, but with multi level marketing you basically sell products yet also get a commission on anybody that you refer who also goes on to sell products themselves.
